Former striker of the French football team Djibril Cisse will work with forwards “Auxerre” according to the French club’s website.
It should be noted that Cissé, 41, will soon receive a coaching qualification. In the new season, he will work with Auxerre head coach Christophe Pelissier, coaching the main and reserve squad forwards.
Cissé graduated from Auxerre and played for the club from 1998 to 2004. He also played for Liverpool and a number of other English teams, in 2013 he defended the colors of Krasnodar Kuban.
As a member of the France national team, the striker became the winner of the 2003 Confederations Cup.
Auxerre left the elite division of the national championship at the end of the 2022/23 season.
