Well, now in charge of Alef Aeronautics in the United States, a sustainable mobility company, developed this car and for the first time in history a vehicle of this nature was given legal permission to fly by the US government. with special airworthiness certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
“We are delighted to receive this certification from the FAA. This allows us to move closer to faster and more environmentally friendly travel, saving individuals and businesses hours every week. It’s a small step for airplanes, a giant leap for cars,” said Jim Dukhovny, CEO of Alef.

What were the results ?
The first production unit was released in October 2022 and It was called Model A. This model has a range of approximately 320 kilometers and a flight capacity of 180 kilometers. Plus, it has 180-degree cinematic vision for safe driving.
This Model A is a 100% electric flying car , which can be driven on public roads and has the ability to take off and land vertically. Of course, it can only carry one or two occupants.
It still does not have a release date but it is estimated which is the end of 2025, however, this will depend on whether it passes the tests established by the United States government.
Its price is 300,000 US$, i.e. nearly 240 million Chilean pesos for each unit.
