He replaced Patrick van Leeuwen in the position
Serb Nenad Lalatovich officially became the new head coach Dawn. In a new position, he replaced Patrick van Leeuwen, who moved to Shakhtar Donetsk.
Lalatovich is a former Shakhtar player. In the 2022/23 season, he led Mladost Novi Sad, with which he finished last in the Serbian Superliga and was relegated to the First League.
Previously, Lalatovic also worked with Crvena Zvezda, Vojvodina and a number of other Serbian clubs. He also led the Serbia U-21 team.
It was reported that Mladen Bartulovich should become one of Lalatovich’s assistants. The Croatian helped Alexander Chizhov at the start of Zorya’s preparations for the new season.
Now Zorya is at a training camp in Poland, where she has already planned to hold at least five test matches: Resovia (July 4), Stal (July 8), Zemplin (July 11), Gornik (July 17), Ruzomberok (July 22).
Zorya finished third in the Ukrainian Championship and will play in the Europa League qualification. The base date for the start of the new draw of the Ukrainian Premier League is July 29.
