Athletistic/Football. Footmercato report that Russian striker Alexander Kokorin will not return to Cypriot club Aris. Last season, Kokorin played for Aris on loan, but the club dropped the idea of firing the player. This decision is linked to the financial conditions.
The Cypriot club paid two-thirds of Kokorin’s salary as per his contract with Fiorentina but are not ready to repeat such financial terms.
Alexander Kokorin left Spartak Moscow for Fiorentina in 2021. Last season he made 30 appearances, scoring 13 goals and providing six assists. The player’s contract with the Italian club runs until June 2024.
