Athletistic/Football. Russian midfielder Denis Cheryshev will continue his football career at Levante.
Last year, Cheryshev moved to Venice as a free agent and signed a contract valid until the summer of 2024. At the end of June, Venice announced that the 32-year-old Russian could leave the team due to high salaries.
In the previous season, Denis Cheryshev played 24 games for Venice, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Levante finished third in the Segunda, Spain’s second division, but lost in the play-off final to Alaves (0-0, 0-1), failing to reach La Liga.
Previously, Cheryshev played for clubs such as Valencia, Villarreal and Real Madrid. He also participated in the 2018 World Cup with the Russian national team, where he scored four goals for the national team.
