Defender youth team of Ukraine Oleksiy Sych commented on the upcoming semi-final match with the national team Spain U-21 on European Championship 2023.
“There is a little fatigue, but there is still a day before the game with Spain. I think our doctors and all the staff will do everything possible for us to recover. For good muscle recovery, you need cold, so all the emphasis is on it. The more it is, the faster the muscles recover.
“I would not say that the victory over France relaxed us. Yes, there was a moment of euphoria: after all, this is the third match with them, and finally – a victory, getting a ticket to the Olympics. Plus the semi-finals. But almost immediately they forgot about it. We celebrated for an hour or two, and that was it. Now the whole focus is on Spain.”
“The Spanish national team is a very good team. In my opinion, she is one of the strongest passing teams. They have similarities with our game, so it will be interesting. Yes, I mean ball control. We also want to control the whole game.”

The youth team of Ukraine played a draw with the Spaniards in the third round of the group stage of Euro 2023 (2:2). The Pyreneans took first place in the group, beating the blue-yellows in additional indicators.
