Negotiations with Violets will be held by Darijo Srna
Miner and Fiorentina continue negotiations on the transfer of the Pitmen’s defender Dodo.
Violets are waiting for a decision from the leadership of the Donetsk club in the next 48 hours. In case of refusal, Fiorentina is ready to stop negotiations and turn to one of the backup options to replace Dodo.
It is noted that Shakhtar director Darijo Srna is in Florence, where the final negotiations on the transfer of the defender will take place.
Earlier it was reported that Shakhtar intends to fetch at least 20 million euros for the Dodo. In turn, Violets are ready to pay the Donetsk club 10-12 million euros for the Brazilian.
Interest in the player was also attributed to Barcelona and Inter, but the Brazilian himself has already agreed on a personal agreement with Fiorentina.
Last season, Dodo played in 26 Shakhtar games, scoring four assists. The 2021/22 season in Ukraine ended ahead of schedule due to a full-scale Russian invasion of the country. Shakhtar took first place in the standings and will play in the group stage of the Champions League.
