Barcelona agrees to sign Vitor Roque, says journalist

After months of conversations and negotiations, Barcelona agreed to hire Vitor Roque, a young man from Athletico-PR, this Tuesday, 4, according to Fabrizio Romano

Despite the transfer window being open for the European market, the expectation is that the 18-year-old will not leave Brazil in 2023. According to Fabrizio Romano, the contract should be signed for Vitor Roque to arrive at Barcelona in January 2024, after playing the remainder of the season for Athletico-PR.

Even without the values ​​being confirmed, the amount for Vitor Roque is around 45 million euros, more than R$ 236 million at the current quotation. However, due to the financial fair play problems that Barcelona has been facing, it is not yet known how the Catalans will go about confirming the transfer and signing up the striker.

In the current season, Roque is Athletico-PR’s main player, even at a young age. With 29 matches played, the center forward scored 15 times, in addition to distributing five assists. These numbers do not count the commitments that the player had with the Brazilian under-20 teamwhen he was featured in the South American Tournament of the category.
