Former head coach Naples Luciano Spalletti noted that he has no plans to return to training this year.
“I will see what is happening and assess what I need. I can’t say for sure that I will be back next year. I will definitely not be training until the new year. Let’s see how I feel until then. If you like something like I liked Napoli, it’s hard to accept something new,” Spalletti said.
At the end of the season, Napoli, under Spalletti, became Italian champions for the first time in 33 years.
