‘It’s the right decision for my career’ – Mount announces he is leaving Chelsea

Chelsea Midfielder Mason mount recorded a farewell video in which he announced his departure from the club after 18 years in the structure of the Londoners.

The 24-year-old Englishman, according to the media, will continue his career in “Manchester United” .

“Given all the speculation over the past six months, this may not surprise you. But it’s still not easy for me to say that I’ve made the decision to leave Chelsea.

I think you deserve more than just a goodbye text. So I decided to tell you directly how grateful I am for all of your support over these 18 years. I know some people won’t like my decision, but it’s the right step for my career.

I came to chelsea at the age of six, we have been through a lot. Winning the Youth Cup, winning Player of the Season, winning the Super Cup, winning the Club World Cup and, of course, that unforgettable night when we won the Champions League.

I want to thank the academy for the influence it has had on me since childhood. I want to thank the trainers I worked with: Frank, Thomas and Graham. I wish you all the best,” Mount said in a video posted to the player’s social media.

As a member of the Londoners, Mount played 195 games, scored 33 goals and made 37 assists.
