Blancos intervene in the fight for the 18-year-old player
Real made a better offer Fenerbahce on the transition of an 18-year-old midfielder Ardy Guler.
The Blancos have offered an amount that exceeds the 20 million euro clause stipulated in the player’s contract. Arda himself agreed to a move to Real Madrid.
Earlier it was reported that Guler will move to Barcelona. The Catalan club offered to pay part of the clause immediately, and the rest next year, and leave the player in Fenerbahce on loan for the season.
Güler made 29 appearances for Fenerbahce in all competitions last season, scoring five goals and providing six assists.
The midfielder scored his debut goal for the Turkish national team in the match with Wales (2:0) in the qualification for Euro 2024.
Previously, the Blancos re-signed defender Nacho, midfielder Dani Ceballos, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos, and also loaned striker Joselu.
Defender Fran Garcia and midfielder Jude Bellingham were the entry transfers, while midfielder Braim Diaz returned from a loan at Milan.
Real Madrid finished second in the Spanish Liga last season. Creamy became the owners of the Spanish Cup, beating Osasuna in the final – 2:1.
