– The question is how involved he will be in Barrios’ return or, for example, Kuzyaev’s return. Of course he has to play. And as far as I know, as Semak said, he looks good in the training process. I wouldn’t give it. He should now be in the cage, training with the main team and, if possible, practicing the game.
What about the rental option?
– It depends on the team, the tasks of this team and the specialist who works in it. It is heavy. A lot of our talented guys at the age of 19-20 leave and a lot don’t come back. It seems to me that Vasiliev is a gifted boy and it is worth working with him further here. In addition, it is possible to train in the game both for Zenit-2 and for the youth team, if it is not enough in the main team.
I think his main position is central midfielder. He can play in whatever position Barrios plays, but there may be situations where they can play together. In any case, he is quite a capable and gifted player, and Zenit should keep him, in my opinion.
