The Blue-Yellows scored first but then conceded five goals
In the semi-final match of the European Youth Championship national team of Ukraine devastatingly lost to the team Spain with a score of 1:5.
The blue-and-yellows were the first to open the scoring in the match: after a great pass from Mikhail Mudrik, Artem Bondarenko scored. But even before the break, the Spaniards not only bounced back, but also took the lead thanks to goals from Abel Ruiz and Oian Sunset.
And in the second half, the Spanish team scored three more times: Antonio Blanco, Aimar Oros and Sergio Gomez scored their own goals.
The Spanish national team reached the final of Euro 2023, in which they will play against the team of England. The main match of the tournament will take place on July 8 at 19:00 Kyiv time.
Recall that thanks to reaching the semi-finals of the European Youth Championship, the football team of Ukraine will play at the Olympics for the first time in history.
