Former Manchester United captain Rio Ferdinand commented on the transition Mason mount at the Chelsea club.
According to British media, the midfielder’s contract runs until summer 2028 with the transfer fee estimated at 69.5 million euros.
“Really pleased with Mount’s arrival. Young, talented and hungry. He has experience in high pressing matches. As a player, he will bring us creativity and a work ethic.
He definitely complements what we have in the squad and is different from other midfield players. I really think Chelsea will regret selling Mount over time,” Ferdinand wrote on social media.
Mount, 24, made 195 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 33 goals and providing 37 assists.
