Notable women’s football club Zhilstroy-1 started cooperation with metal worker 1925 and became the women’s team of the UPL club.
Zhilstroy-1 is a 10-time champion of Ukraine and an 11-time winner of the Ukrainian Cup. The team missed the last draw of the Women’s Major League, but showed up for the next championship in the elite division.
Vladimir Pyatenko, who previously worked with the Dynamo women’s team, became the head coach of Zhilstroy-1. Also, a specialist in Ukraine headed the Donetsk Metallurgist, Obolon-Brovar and Chernomorets.
12 clubs will take part in the next draw of the women’s football championship of Ukraine. Vorskla became the winner of the last Major League championship.
Metalist 1925 ended the season in 12th place in the Premier League and retained his residence permit in the elite division. The base date for the start of the new draw of the Ukrainian Premier League is July 29.
