Also suspended were Matarrita and Peglow.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association made a number of decisions on the match of the 29th round of the UPL Shakhtar — Dnipro-1 (3:0), which ended mass brawl with representatives from both teams.

For improper behavior of the FTC, the UAF suspended several Shakhtar players from participation in the competitions: Yaroslav Rakytsky (4 matches), Viktor Kornienko (4 matches), Anatoly Trubin (4 matches, 2 of which are suspended), Egor Nazarin (3 matches).

As part of the Dnieper-1, they were punished Vitaly Fedoriv (4 matches), Alexey Gutsulyak (4 matches), Ronald Matarrita (4 matches) and Joao Peglow (4 matches). Note that Matarrita and Peglow left the Dnipro team at the end of the 2022/23 season.

All suspended players of Shakhtar and SC Dnipro-1 have already served one match of disqualification.

Also, the FTC UAF ordered Shakhtar and SC Dnepr-1 to pay a fine of 500 thousand hryvnias each. For the duration of martial law, the UAF transfers all funds received by the decisions of the Control and Disciplinary and Appeal Committees to the UNITED24 platform.

Recall that in stoppage time of the match between Shakhtar and Dnipro-1, midfielder Miners Nazarina grossly fouled Dnipro’s forward Peglow. Violation of the rules led to a fight involving players from both teams, team representatives and coaching staffs.
