LNZ signed ex-goalkeeper Minai Penkov

Another newcomer to the Cherkasy team

LNZ announced the signing of the goalkeeper Herman Penkova. Details of the agreement with the 29-year-old player are not specified.

Penkov’s previous club was Minaj. Last season, the goalkeeper played only one match in the Premier League.

Previously, Penkov played for Stal (Kamenskoe), Karpaty, Olimpik, PFC Lviv and Armenian Pyunik.

In the summer, the LNZ signed defenders Petr Stasyuk and Maxim Kovalev, midfielders Gennady Pasich, Evgeny Banada and Vladislav Naumets, and forward Maxim Pryadun. Also, the newcomer to the UPL broke up with seven players.

In the 2022/2023 season, LNZ took the final third place in the Championship group of the First League, and in the aggregate of two playoff matches for the right to play in the UPL, they beat Ingulets. In the first round of the new championship of Ukraine, the Cherkasy team will play with Chornomorets.
