Merseysiders paid four million pounds for the transfer of the 18-year-old Scot
Liverpool signed right back Aberdeen Calvin Ramsey. The 18-year-old Scot signed a long-term contract with the Reds.
It was reported that Liverpool would pay £4m for Ramsey’s move. Another 2.5 million Aberdeen can receive in the form of bonuses.
The Scotland Under-21 defender has made 39 appearances and provided nine assists for the Aberdeen first team.
Ramsey is Liverpool’s third signing this off-season after striker Darwin Nunez and midfielder Fabio Carvalho.
Liverpool ended the 2021/22 season in second place in the Premier League. In the Champions League final, Jurgen Klopp’s team lost to Real Madrid (0:1). Aberdeen finished tenth in the Scottish Championship.
