Kovalevsky club strengthens the squad before the new season
Defender Valery Luchkevich will officially continue his career in Kolos. Details of the agreement with the 27-year-old, who could also play in midfield, were not specified.
Luchkevich’s previous club was SK Dnipro-1, which he left at the end of the 2022/23 season. Previously, Valery played for the Dnieper, the Belgian Standard and Alexandria.
Last season, Luchkevich played in three matches for Dnipro-1. The defender has missed most of the campaign with a cruciate ligament injury.
In the summer, Kolos signed contracts with goalkeeper Valentin Gorokh, defenders Nikita Burda, Valery Bondarenko and Andrey Tsurikov, midfielder Alexander Demchenko.
Also, new agreements for a period of one season with the Kovalev club were signed by defender Alexander Chernomorets, midfielders Vadim Milko and Andrey Bogdanov.
In the 1st round of the new UPL draw, Kolos will play against Obolon. The base date is July 29th.
