In the third and final episode of the special series of reports on women’s football, which will air this Sunday, the 9th, within the ‘Spectacular sport‘, the reporter Marcelo Courrege will tell the beautiful story of daiana. Born in the municipality of Brejo do Cruz, in Paraíba, she gave up football because of her illiterate parents, who did not want her to leave the city.
She was the first in her family to complete higher education, graduated in Literature and is currently a Portuguese teacher. Football lover, she united her two passions in life by writing a children’s book, in string format, about the player’s story Marta, elected six times the best in the world in the modality and also from the Northeast. The number 10 shirt of the national team became aware of the story, sent a message and even signed a book for Daiana.
Women’s football continues as a theme in ‘Esporte Espetacular’, in the box “reunions”, created in honor of the 50th anniversary of the program. the reporter Filipe Cury reviews some of the characters from a football match between women, played at Morumbi, in 1982, and shown in a compact narrated by journalist Gloria Maria. Players from the Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo teams faced each other for the first time in a large stadium in a tense atmosphere, as soccer between women was not yet regulated.
