“InterMiami announced that it would hold a launch event called “Opening” on July 16 at its home stadium.
The club said in a press release that the event “will include live entertainment, on-pitch performances and more”. The post itself does not mention the club’s star rookie Lionel Messi . The signing of Barcelona midfielder Sergi Busquets was also announced earlier.
Messi is set to make his Inter Miami debut on July 21 against Mexican club Cruz Azul.
Messi left Paris Saint-Germain in June. Afterwards, the Argentine announced that he would continue his career at Inter Miami.
