The 18-year-old Fenerbahçe midfielder’s transfer announcement drew more than 750,000 likes, which is a record for Madrid, according to Planeta Real Madrid. Only Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United (1.8 million) and Messi’s move to PSG (850,000) garnered more likes than Guler’s welcome tweet.
Güler graduated from Genclerbirligi. He was in the academy of this Turkish club from 2014 to 2019. Then the footballer ended up at Fenerbahce, for the main team of which he scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in 51 matches.
