Next Monday, the 10th, Abel Ferreira will have two unwanted commitments. On the date, the coach of palm trees will be defendant in two different proceedings of the STJD. The 1st Disciplinary Commission of the entity will analyze the expulsion of the Portuguese against Strengthfor the Brazil’s Cupand the disagreement he had with Calleriagainst São Paulofor the Brazilian.

Due to the red card, Abel was denounced in article 258 of the Brazilian Code of Sports Justice, which deals with cases of disrespect for arbitration, or acrimonious complaints against its decisions. Thus, the penalty for the process may vary from one to six suspension matches, if punishment is decreed by the STJD.

In the match summary, Wilton Pereira Sampaioreferee of the match, detailed the coach’s expulsion as follows: “For protesting the referee’s decision in a rude and offensive way with gestures by throwing a glass of water on the ground, punching the air and uttering the following words: ‘it was a foul, son of a bitch…'”. At the time, Palmeiras contested this analysis and issued a note in defense of Abel Ferreira.

As for the confusion with Calleri, the São Paulo striker, Abel will be questioned for violating two articles, 258 again and 257, which includes the participation of turmoil or conflict during the match. Dealing with the second article in question, the punishment can vary from two to ten games of suspension.
