On the eve of Heerenveen presented the team’s new away kit for the 2023/24 season. The kit is made in the traditional colors of the club: blue, red and white. The main color of the T-shirt is red and there are white and blue stripes on the sleeves. On social networks, users began to express their dissatisfaction with the fact that the sleeves resemble the flag of Russia. However, Heerenveen’s new kit is almost an exact replica of the kit from 1993/94, when the club reached the top flight.

It’s extremely unpleasant and annoying for us that they see it that way. .I see the sleeves with our club colors, and the only flag I can think of is the Frisian flag.
