Soteldo signs a contract with Santos, but should be negotiated soon

This Friday, the 7th, Soteldo signed its definitive contract with the saintsafter months of negotiations with the tigers, from Mexico. Even with the bond valid until June 2027, the Venezuelan should no longer play for Peixe, at least while Paulo Turra are in command. The São Paulo club seeks to negotiate the player soon.

Due to the definitive purchase of the player, confirmed last month, Santos will have to pay a total of BRL 20 million to Tigres, but the amount will be divided into four installments. Recently, Soteldo was removed from the squad for indiscipline and, therefore, Peixe tried to reverse the deal, but it was not possible and signed the new bond.

Last week, after the match against bloomingvalid by South American, Soteldo reportedly refused to train the day after the match. Therefore, Paulo Turra made the decision to remove the player for indiscipline. Thus, the Venezuelan has been working in isolation, separated from the rest of the Santos squad.

With this backstage problem wide open, Soteldo did not hide his dissatisfaction with the situation and should no longer play for Santos de Paulo Turra. However, as the purchase was made, the alvinegro club is looking for a negotiation for the Venezuelan striker. The focus would be a sale, but loans are not ruled out.

Essential name for Santos in 2019 and 2020, Soteldo returned to the São Paulo club at the end of last year. However, unlike his first spell, he was unable to repeat the same success and left something to be desired at various times, in addition to injury problems. Since returning, the Venezuelan has appeared in 24 games, provided five assists and scored no goals.
