Contract until summer 2025
Metalworker 1925 announced the signing of a defender Vadim Chervak. The contract runs until the summer of 2025.
Chervak’s previous club was Polissya. The Zhytomyr club terminated the agreement with the player after a scandalous incident in the match with Metalurh (1:2) – at the end of the meeting, Vadim pushed the chief referee Sophia Reason.
In April, the UAF Control and Disciplinary Committee suspended Chervak from participation in competitions for 6 months for using physical force against a referee. The player’s suspension will end in October.
Today Metalist 1925 sparred with Veres. Sophia Cause was the main arbiter of the meeting. Chervak presented the girl with flowers before the fight and personally apologized for the incident in April.
The base date for the start of the new season of the Ukrainian Championship is July 29. In the first round, Metalist 1925 will face Shakhtar.
