Former striker Lokomotiv Dmitry Sichev told that the coaching staff, led by Mikhail Galaktionov uses striker Artem Dziuba’s best qualities to benefit the team.
Dzyuba joined the railway in February 2023. The striker made 11 appearances last season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists. Lokomotiv finished the league in eighth place with 45 points.
At the end of May, Dzyuba, who will turn 35 in August, signed a new agreement with the Moscow club until the end of the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for another year.
– Of course, Dziuba improved the game. His statistics speak for themselves – eight goals in 11 games. He really came to court, scored many important goals and provided many assists. More importantly, he plays an important role in Galaktionov’s strategy.
