Forward continues recovery from injury
Attack Lassina Traore arrived at the location miner in the Netherlands, where the team is holding a training camp. The forward is still working on an individual program.
Traore was injured in early May. It was reported that the forward will miss three months due to quadriceps tendinitis.
Last season, 22-year-old Traore played in 31 matches for Shakhtar in all competitions, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists.
Shakhtar have already played their first test match in the Netherlands. Patrick van Leeuwen’s team tied with AZ (3:3). The Pitmen plan to hold the next sparring on July 13 with AEK.
Shakhtar became the champion of Ukraine and will play in the group stage of the Champions League. In the first round of the new UPL season, the Pitmen will face Metalist 1925. The base date is 29 July.
