Athletistic/ Football. Former CSKA defender Mario Fernandez will soon sign a deal with Zenit, journalist Fabio Aleixo has posted on social media.
The 32-year-old will fly to Russia on Monday. Zenit will officially announce the transfer next week.
Previous media wrote that Fernandez will sign a two-year deal with St. Petersburg.
Fernandez played for CSKA from July 2012 to June 2022. Now the army team’s attempts to fire the player failed.
On July 15, Zenit and CSKA will face each other in the match for the Russian Supercup.
