ex-defender Kryvbas Vitaliy Vernidub officially entered the coaching staff of the team, which is headed by his father – Yuri Vernidub.
Vitaly will be responsible for the actions of the players in defense, and, according to him, will be a buffer zone between the team and the mentors. Interestingly, a few weeks ago, Vernidub Jr. received a category B coaching license from UEFA.
Earlier it was reported that Vernydub ended his football career. The 35-year-old athlete played for Zorya, Metallurg, Gabala. Vitaliy joined Kryvbas last summer at the invitation of his father.
Last season, the defender played 11 matches, scoring one goal. In total, he has 380 official matches in his career, including matches in the Europa League and the Conference League.
Kryvbas in the first round of the new championship of Ukraine will play against Oleksandriya. The base date for the start of the new season in the Ukrainian Premier League is July 29.
