The goalkeeper of the youth and national teams of Ukraine Anatoly Trubin this summer may change the club. According to insiders, Shakhtar’s agents have already met with representatives of Inter and even agreed on the terms of the personal contract of their ward. Now it’s up to Shakhtar, who, according to unofficial information, wants to help out 35 million euros for the goalkeeper – a very decent amount.
The authoritative specialized portal Transfermarkt estimates Trubin more modestly – at $ 22 million. But even in such scenarios, Anatoly is in the top 10 most expensive goalkeepers in the world in history. The Ukrainians were once cheaper than Cech, Oblak and Ter Stegen. At the same time, in Ukraine, until the age of 22, Trubin was not considered the most expensive keeper in his age.
Ukrainian keepers under 19: Koval is number one
So, if we take into account the cost of Ukrainian goalkeepers under the age of 19, then the same Transfermarkt estimated the 18-year-old Trubin at only 400 thousand dollars. This is almost six times less than the cost of Maxim Koval at the age of 18, who moved from Zaporozhye Metallurg to Dynamo Kiev.
It is noteworthy that at the age of 18, Lunin and Neshcheret were rated more expensive than Trubin. The 17-year-old goalkeeper Vorskla Isenko also cost more.
Ukrainian keepers under 20: Trubin lost to Lunin
If we talk about Ukrainian goalkeepers under 20 years old, then one cannot fail to note the annual progress of Trubin, who increased his value by 7.5 million euros. However, it is not surprising: in the 2020/2021 season, the Ukrainian got a place in the starting lineup of Shakhtar, having played 30 matches for the Pitmen in all competitions, including five in the Champions League, four in the Europa League.
But even in such scenarios, Anatoly lost in price to Lunin, whose transfer fee was estimated at 8.5 million euros.
Ukrainian keepers under 23: Trubin is already the first
Anatoly managed to get around the cost of the goalkeeper of Real Madrid only in the age category up to 23 years. Until the 21st year, Lunin held the palm in terms of price.
But at the age of 23, Trubin is the most expensive goalkeeper in Ukraine by a solid margin. We note that in the TOP-10 is Dmytro Riznyk, relatively recently bought by Shakhtar from Vorskla. Denis Boyko and Anton Kanibolotsky, as well as the same Maxim Koval and Nikita Shevchenko, were highly appreciated at the time.
World: Donnaruma is beyond competition
If we talk about the cost of goalkeepers at the age of 23 in the world, then Lunin with a price of 22 million euros is in seventh place. If Shakhtar sells the goalkeeper for the “declared” 35 million euros, the Ukrainian will enter the TOP-3.
PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was valued the most at the age of up to 23 years – 65 million euros. Napoli keeper Alex Meret was valued at 40 million euros at his peak. Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana, on whose transfer to Manchester United the transfer of Trubin to Inter depends, was estimated at 35 million euros.
