In the summer, the Argentine footballer joined Inter Miami on a free transfer.
“We had opportunities, we agreed that there would be a deal. Messi wanted, father too, but our rhythms did not match.
The contract was fully concluded, but his father, Jorge, wanted to come talk to me. He told us that Messi chose Inter Miami, he will be calmer there,” Mundo Deportivo quoted Laporta as saying.
