England soccer players snapped Belgium’s unbeaten streak and extended theirs

The England women’s team beat Belgium 3-0 in a friendly at Wolverhampton.

For an hour the opponents were unable to touch each other’s goal, but Chloe Kelly in the 62nd minute and Rachel Daley in the 66th brought the hosts forward. The end result was an own goal from Belgian goalkeeper Nicky Evrard.

For the England women, the victory was the fourth in a row, as the team’s unbeaten streak continues for 12 matches. The Belgian team has never lost before in 7 games.

The England national team is ranked 8th in the FIFA rankings among women’s national teams, Belgium is 20th.
