Athletistic/Football. Dutch club Feyenoord refuse to pay the sum of 15 million euros for the acquisition of midfielder Arsen Zakharyan from Dynamo. Instead, the club agree to pay €8m for a percentage of the 20-year-old’s rights and then buy the rest. It is reported by fr12.nl.
Earlier, it was also reported that apart from Zakharyan, Feyenoord had been offered to sign Atlanta United midfielder Thiago Almada. However, the likelihood of transfers of both the current world champion and the young Russian talent to Feyenoord is considered low. The Dutch club are looking for a replacement for Sebastian Szymanski, whose agents changed the terms of a previously agreed deal at the last minute.
Zakharyan’s contract with Dynamo expires in the summer of 2024. In the summer of 2022, Chelsea tried to sign the player, but couldn’t complete his transfer payment.
- Zakharyan could move to Feyenoord
