Midfielder “Manchester City” Bernardo Silva gave up wedding gifts in favor of non-governmental organizations.
On July 1, the footballer married his fiancee Ines Tomaz. The newlyweds asked the guests of the celebration to make donations to two social solidarity associations.
“I wish Bernard Silva and Ines Tomaz the best for all the reasons, but also because they decided to make their special day an act of solidarity: they refused the gifts and asked their guests to donate to two associations, including ours, ”wrote on social networks Katarina Furtado, founder of the social fund for the protection of women’s rights.
Silva made 55 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions last season, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists.
