Adyam Kuzyaev, the father of midfielder Daler Kuzyaev, who left Zenit for French Le Havre this summer, has told how the negotiations with the new club went.
– This whole story has developed very complicated. “Le Havre” came to see us one of the first, three or four weeks ago, and was immediately very interested. The club’s sports department, headed by the head coach, made a detailed presentation: how the team plays, what role they see Daler in.
Le Havre has just come out of the second division – it is clear that the club is not rich. But that’s what got us hooked. There were several even more financially attractive proposals. But Le Havre behaved with decency and perseverance. We seriously considered all possible options and gradually arrived at what Daler wanted.
