Netfullin said Talalaev played a big role in his transition to Khimki

Midfielder “Khimki » Ravil Netfullin told that he returned to the club from the Moscow region largely due to the interest of the club’s head coach Andrei Talalaev .

Netfullin has signed a two-year contract with the Moscow region club. The 30-year-old previously played for Khimki from 2018 to 2020.

– How did the option to return to Khimki arise and why did you accept this offer?

– The option appeared after all contractual issues with Torpedo were resolved. Through an agent, I was looking for options to further my career. Turns out the former and current head coach called and expressed interest. It was the most important factor.

– It turns out that Andrei Talalaev played a big role in your transition?

– Yes, because of all the other options, there were no details from the head coach like there were in Khimki. For me, like for most football players, the interest of the coach is the basis.

– Is Khimki able to immediately return to the RPL in the coming season?

– It all depends on how the new team will meet the demands of Andrei Viktorovich (Talalaev). The coach selected the team and the players with the right qualities. We can say that he assembled a puzzle, it is his prerogative. Everything is real, but a lot will depend on how we start the first matches,” Netfullin told .

Following last season’s results, Andrey Talalaev’s side were relegated to the MELBET‑First League. Khimki will start the new season on July 17 with an away game against Tyumen.
