Moscow Striker Lokomotiv Artem Dzyuba is currently the best striker in MIR of the Russian Premier League (RPL), says former Russian national team footballer Alexander Mostovoi .
Dzyuba joined the railroad in February. As part of the team, the 34-year-old played 11 Russian league games, scored eight goals and provided four assists.
– The best Russian striker in the RPL – Dziuba. Here without questions. He came back and proved everything to everyone. No one expected such a return from him. Let’s see how he will pass the new season. He will certainly score his 10 goals. The class stayed with him,” Mostovoy told RB Sport.
At the end of May, Dzyuba signed a new agreement with the Moscow club until the end of the 2023/24 season with the possibility of an extension for another year.
Mikhail Galaktionov’s side will start the new 2023/24 season with a home game against Rubin Kazan on July 22.
