Defenders signed contracts with the club Vitaly Polyansky And Anatoly Klyusmidfielders Andrey Slipukhin And Stanislav Derevinskyas well as forward Evgeny Prodanov.

It should be noted that all five supported Trostyanets before the start of a full-scale Russian military invasion of Ukraine, and also survived the occupation of Trostyanets, which lasted almost a month.

Recall that Valery Shapovalov became the new head coach of FC Trostyanets. Together with the mentor, a new coaching staff came to the team.

In May, Trostyanets announced his intention to resume playing in the PFL in the 2023/24 season. The team missed the last championship because of the desire to send funds for the restoration of the Trostyanets community after the occupation.

Also, a club from the Sumy region began raising funds to restore the stadium, which was damaged by artillery shelling.

Trostyanets has already conducted a screening of recruits called “Unbreakable Vidbir”. The team will be joined by ex-midfielder Zirka Ruslan Kholyavko, Artem Zhyla from Univer-Dynamo Kharkiv, and Denis Kuryakov, who previously played in Kremna-2.

Trostyanets will play in the Second League in the 2023/24 season. The base date for the start of the competition in the division is August 6.
