“Our psychology is to curry favor with strangers. And Westerners only respect force. Borodyuk – about foreign coaches in the RPL

Ex-coach of the Russian national team Alexander Borodyuk explained why the RPL started to invite foreign coaches more often.

– Where does this reverence for foreigners in the LPR in Russia come from?

– I’m surprised – from where? We see on the example of the same “Zenith”, where all managers are Russian, all coaches are Russian, and everything works normally for them. But that’s our psychology – currying favor with strangers all the time…

I played for seven years in Germany – and Westerners only respect strength. If you show level, score, then they treat you with respect. But as soon as you are tied, immediately a different attitude.

The coaches said: “As soon as there is a German player of the same level, he will play.” Why we don’t, I don’t know. Maybe foreign coaching agents work more professionally.

But these questions must be asked of leaders. For example, Dynamo now have a priority – only foreign coaches. Schwartz, Jokanovic, now Lichka. Why is that?

“The Buvac Vector, apparently.

– Imagine again: if a Russian sports director were in his place, would they leave him for this result with Jokanovic?

I think this: if you invite your coach, support him, then support him until the end. Share with him the responsibility for the result, talk to the press.

And now – silence. All three leaders blamed everything on Jokanovic. But that is not possible. If you invite a coach, you are now in the same boat as him. Also take your responsibilities.

This also applies to footballers. Jokanovic is gone – and Buvac is silent. And the players speak. It turns out that the atmosphere in training was not the same. This is not entirely correct, – said Borodyuk “”.

Borodyuk worked as a coach in the Russian national team, Torpedo and Kairat.
