The Russian Football Union (RFU) has acknowledged the lack of legionnaire status for the Serbian defenderSochi » Ivan Miladinovich according to the organization’s official website.
Moreover, the absence of this status was recognized by Soviet Wings player Yegor Borisov, Zvezda players Andrei Trofimov and Kirill Sechkin.
In the spring of 2022, Miladinovic received a Russian passport. The footballer has been defending the colors of the people of Sochi since 2018. In total, Miladinovic has 95 appearances for the club and three goals.
The new season of the Russian Championship starts on July 21. In the first round, Sochi will host Baltika Kaliningrad on July 23.
