‘France has never valued talent’ – Trezeguet on Messi

Former France striker David Trezeguet said the national championship did not take the opportunity to improve its quality by an order of magnitude with the arrival Lionel Messi .

Messi previously left PSG as a free agent. The forward throughout last season was the subject of heavy criticism from the media and some of the Parisians’ supporters.

– France never appreciated talent, and therefore the country never understood Messi. Its entry into Ligue 1 was an opportunity to make a league less attractive than the Premier League, Serie A, La Liga and I would even say the Bundesliga more attractive. However, France never appreciated Messi’s talent.

Ligue 1 has rarely had the chance to welcome a player of this stature. Me, Henry, Dugarry and Lizarazu, who have history, were harshly criticized for defending Messi, Goal quote Trezeguet.

Earlier, Messi announced the continuation of his career in the United States. The striker will play for Inter Miami.
