Cossacks rejected the first official proposal
Dnepr-1 made an official offer for the transfer of striker Metallurg Alexey Sidorov.
It is reported that the Dniprians estimate the striker at 300 thousand dollars. The metallurgist rejected the first application. Dnepr-1 intends to continue negotiations.
The 22-year-old striker made 24 appearances for Metalurh last season. Sidorov has 11 goals and 4 assists.
In July, Dnipro-1 paid Alexandria $250,000 for defender Denis Miroshnichenko and €400,000 for midfielder Maxim Tretyakov. Also, before the start of the new season, SC Dnipro-1 signed goalkeepers Roman Mysak and Evgeny Volynets, defenders Oleg Gorin and Vasily Kravets.
On July 25, Dnipro-1 will play the first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Panathinaikos. The return match will take place on 1 August. The opening match between Dnipro and Vorskla in the Ukrainian Championship has been postponed due to the participation of both teams in European competitions.
