Athletistic/Football. According to information received from a Metaratings source, CSKA midfielder Jorge Carrascal has expressed a desire to join Moscow club Spartak. However, the club’s administration refused to consider his candidacy due to doubts about the footballer’s personal qualities, believing that he could negatively affect the spirit of the team.
Earlier, on July 10, Spartak announced the transfer of another Latin American midfielder from CSKA, Jesus Medina, the deal amounting to 7 million euros.
Jorge Carrascal played 34 games for CSKA last season, scoring six goals and providing six assists. With the team, he won the Russian Cup in the 2022/2023 season. We also know the interest shown in Carrascal by the Greek club PAOK.
