If Mbappe and Neymar remain in the team, the 20-year-old Dutchman will go on loan
PSG activated €6 million buyout clause for PSV midfielder Javi Simons.
The 20-year-old Dutch midfielder traveled to Paris to finalize the deal. PSG has two options for the player. Simons will go on loan if strikers Kylian Mbappe and Neymar remain on the team. If at least one of the star players leaves the team, the midfielder will spend the season in Paris.
Earlier it was reported that PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi suggested that Mbappe sign a new contract or leave the team in the summer. The leadership of the Parisians does not intend to release the striker for free in a year.
Javi Simons joined PSV from PSG as a free agent in 2022. The midfielder made 48 appearances for the club in all competitions last season, scoring 22 goals and providing 12 assists.
PSG became champions of France. In the first round of the new season, the Parisians will host Lorient.
