Head of Zarya Guz: We are waiting for the Europa League draw to decide on the stadium for the new season

Left Bank arena remains the priority option

Boss Dawn Igor Guz commented on the choice stadium for the 2023/24 season.

“Given that the Olympic Professional College named after Ivan Poddubny (former RVUFK) has become our training base, we would like to hold home matches in the capital. The priority option is the stadium of FC Levy Bereg. Preferably for the whole championship.

“As for the reserve arena, there is no concrete decision now – we are negotiating. Among the options are Lviv and Uzhgorod. The final decision will be made after we know the opponents in the Europa League and decide on the logistics for the fall.”

Earlier, Sport Arena reported that Zorya plans to hold home matches in the new season at the Left Bank stadium. Recall that last season, Zorya hosted its rivals at the Dynamo stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky.

In the first round of the new UPL season, Zorya will play away with Rukh. The match will take place on July 29. In the new season, the team will be led by Serb Nenad Lalatovic.

Zorya starts in the Europa League from the qualifying play-off round. The draw for this stage of the European Cup selection will take place on 7 August.
