The Gunners will have three sparring matches
Today Arsenal went to the USA, where he will continue to prepare for the new season. The Gunners’ delegation includes 27 players, including a Ukrainian defender Alexander Zinchenko.
Newcomers from London also went to the USA: defender Jurrien Timber, midfielder Declan Rice and forward Kai Havertz. Midfielders Emile Smith-Rowe and Thomas Partey will join Arsenal’s squad next week.
Earlier it was reported that Zinchenko has not yet recovered from the injury that bothered him last season. The Ukrainian did not take part in the first Arsenal sparring in the off-season with Watford (1:1) and Nuremberg (1:1).
In the US, Arsenal plans to hold three sparring matches: with the MLS All-Star Team (July 20), Manchester United (July 23) and Barcelona (July 26).
Arsenal are English vice-champions 2022/23. Mikel Arteta’s team will start the new season on August 6 with an FA Super Cup match against Manchester City.
