The midfielder will help Dnipro-1 in the Champions League qualification
Midfielder Dnepr-1 Oleksandr Pikhalyonok recovered from injury. Today, the midfielder held the first training session in the general group of the team.
Pikhalyonok was injured in June at the location of the Ukrainian national team. The midfielder was reported to have foot problems.
Last season, Pikhalyonok scored eight goals and provided 14 assists in 40 matches for Dnepr-1 in all competitions.
Tomorrow, July 18, Dnipro-1 will hold the final sparring of the summer off-season. Wards of Oleksandr Kucher will play with Kryvbas.
On July 25, Dnipro-1 will play the first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Panathinaikos. The return match will take place on 1 August. The opening match between Dnipro and Vorskla in the Ukrainian Championship has been postponed due to the participation of both teams in European competitions.
