Portuguese captain Cristiano Ronaldo said he is a catalyst for improving the quality of the leagues he will play in.
“I thought it would take a year for the big players to start moving to Saudi Arabia, but it took six months. I knew it would happen. The same Italian league was dead when I got there, then it resurrected.
Where Cristiano is going there is more interest, and I knew it would be the same here. I’m sure more stars will go to Saudi Arabia next season,” Ronaldo said as quoted by Metro.
During the last season of the Saudi Arabian championship, the Al-Nasr striker took part in 16 matches, scoring 14 goals and making two assists.
