The goalkeeper is familiar with many players in the new team and hopes for a quick adaptation
Newbie Dnepr-1 Evgeny Volynets told about his transition from Kolos to the camp of the Dnieper.
“In fact, everything happened quickly. It all happened in just a day or two. I admit, I didn’t expect this a little myself – I calmly prepared for the season with Kolos. But everything happened quickly, and I am very glad that I ended up here.”
“Perhaps some excitement, because for six years I played in the same club. But I will say that I more or less communicated and know all the guys, so I think that there will be no problems. I think we will quickly find a common language and together we will do everything to achieve results.”
The goalkeeper signed a three-year contract with the Dnipros. In the new team, Volynets will play at number 1.
Last season, Volynets played 29 matches for Kolos, conceding 34 goals. The goalkeeper completed 13 fights “to zero”.
On July 25, Dnipro-1 will play the first match of the second qualifying round of the Champions League against Panathinaikos. The return match will take place on 1 August.
